A half lamb box will weight 9 to 10 kg depending on the cuts you choose. You can fit a half lamb into one freezer compartment. Our standard cuts for half a lamb are as follows, but if you would like any other cuts, such as a rack, or boned and rolled joints, then please let us know at the time of ordering:
- 1 Shoulder cut into 2 joints
- 1 Leg cut into 2 joints
- Loin chops
- Chump chops
- Breast of lamb (bones removed)

- Rack in lieu of loin chops
A whole lamb box will weight 18 to 20 kg depending on the cuts you choose. Our standard cuts for a whole lamb are as follows, but if you would like any other cuts, such as a rack, or boned and rolled joints, then please let us know at the time of ordering:
- 2 Shoulders cut into 4 joints
- 2 Legs cut into 4 joints
- Loin chops
- Chump chops
- Breast of lamb (bones removed)
- Offal - heart, kidneys and liver (if required)

Farm Fresh Somerset Lamb
Our meat boxes are available fresh to order, as a whole or half animals. We have animals of all ages available; lamb, hogget and mutton. We classify our meat as lamb if the animal is up to 1 year of age, hogget for animals between 1 and 2 years of age, and mutton for animals over 2 (but our mutton animals are never older than 3 years).
To give you an idea of the cuts available see the half and whole lamb suggestions below, but please remember, we can have the animal cut in any way you would like.
